REFUND, PAYMENT & PLATFORM USAGE POLICY
Dear Learner,
At French Tree, all courses, study materials, practice modules, mock tests, digital resources, and educational services provided through the Platform are curated and structured for academic preparation purposes including, but not limited to, DELF, TEF,TCF, school curriculum preparation, and advanced language proficiency enhancement.
By purchasing, accessing, or using any course/service on the Platform, the User acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
REFUND POLICY
1.1 Refund Eligibility Within Forty-Eight (48) Hours
A User may request a refund within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of successful purchase/payment of the course (“Eligible Refund Period”).
Subject to verification and approval by the Company, approved refunds may be processed after deduction of:
(a) applicable payment gateway charges;
(b) international transaction charges, currency conversion charges, banking fees, intermediary processing charges, and applicable taxes;
(c) reasonable administrative, processing, and operational charges equivalent to twenty percent (20%) of the course purchase value; and
(d) charges attributable to bundled or complimentary services including test series, downloadable materials, digital resources, assessments, or mock examinations.
The User acknowledges that international payment processing may involve deductions, conversion charges, settlement fees, withholding taxes, intermediary banking charges, platform fees, and statutory compliances applicable in multiple jurisdictions before the final settlement amount is received by the Company in India.
Approved refunds shall be processed within 7–15 business days from the date of approval.
1.2 Non-Refundable Services
All test series, mock examinations, assessments, downloadable study resources, recorded sessions, evaluation modules, and digital resources shall be treated as strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
The monetary value attributable to such services shall be excluded and deducted from any refund amount, irrespective of the stage at which the refund request is raised.
1.3 Limitation of Refund Grounds
Refund requests shall be considered solely in cases where:
(a) the course content is materially incorrect;
(b) substantial course material is unavailable or missing; or
(c) the content provided is demonstrably inconsistent with the course description published by the Company.
Refunds shall not be granted on grounds including but not limited to:
(a) change of mind;
(b) personal preference;
(c) dissatisfaction after partial or full course usage;
(d) lack of usage;
(e) inability to complete the course;
(f) scheduling conflicts;
(g) financial constraints;
(h) dislike of teaching methodology; or
(i) subjective expectations of the User.
1.4 Access to Digital Content
The User expressly acknowledges that access to digital course content, study material, recordings, mock tests, downloadable resources, and related services may commence immediately upon successful purchase/payment.
By completing the purchase and accessing the Platform, the User expressly consents to such immediate access and acknowledges that refund eligibility shall remain subject to the terms of this Policy.
1.5 Refund Request Procedure
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to:

The User may be required to provide payment details, transaction references, and supporting information for verification purposes.
PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 The User agrees to pay all applicable fees, taxes, levies, currency conversion charges, banking charges, and payment processing charges associated with the selected course/service.
2.2 Payments made on the Platform may be processed through international third-party payment gateways, aggregators, banking channels, or financial intermediaries.
2.3 The validity, duration, and access period of each course shall remain limited to the tenure specified on the Platform or communicated at the time of enrolment.
2.4 The Company reserves the right to recover unpaid dues through legally permissible recovery mechanisms in accordance with applicable law.
2.5 Any approved refund amount shall be remitted only after deduction of applicable payment gateway fees, banking charges, intermediary settlement charges, currency conversion charges, statutory taxes, administrative expenses, and other operational costs incurred by the Company.
THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDERS
3.1 Payments made on the Platform may be processed through third-party payment gateways, aggregators, banking channels, or financial intermediaries (“Third-Party Service Providers”).
3.2 The Company does not control and shall not be responsible for transaction failures, delays, interruptions, exchange rate fluctuations, security breaches, technical issues, or operational deficiencies attributable to such Third-Party Service Providers.
3.3 The User acknowledges that certain personal and financial information may be shared directly with such Third-Party Service Providers for payment processing purposes.
3.4 Users are advised to independently review the terms of use, privacy policies, and refund policies of such Third-Party Service Providers before undertaking any transaction.
PLATFORM MISUSE & UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS
4.1 In the event the Company reasonably suspects that a User has attempted to:
(a) unlawfully access course materials;
(b) record, duplicate, reproduce, distribute, share, or circulate course content through unauthorized means; or
(c) infringe the intellectual property rights of the Company,
the Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the User account without prior notice and without refund.
4.2 The Company further reserves the right to initiate appropriate civil and/or criminal proceedings in accordance with applicable law.
DISCOUNTS, OFFERS & CUSTOM PRICING
5.1 The Company may, at its discretion, introduce customized pricing structures, promotional schemes, discounts, scholarship offers, or special payment terms for selected Users or territories.
5.2 No third party, affiliate, educator, or representative shall be deemed authorized to independently offer discounts or modify official pricing unless expressly approved in writing by the Company.
5.3 The Company shall not be liable for financial loss or unauthorized discount claims arising from representations made by third parties without authorization.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, the Company, its directors, employees, affiliates, licensors, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:
(a) use or inability to use the Platform;
(b) interruption of services;
(c) payment failures;
(d) unauthorized access;
(e) exchange rate fluctuations;
(f) loss of data; or
(g) acts or omissions of Third-Party Service Providers.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
The Platform is operated and managed from India, and all educational services are deemed to be rendered from India.
All disputes, claims, controversies, or proceedings arising out of or relating to:
(a) use of the Platform;
(b) purchase of any course/service; or
(c) interpretation or enforcement of these terms,
shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection laws, courts situated at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such matters.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By purchasing, accessing, or continuing to use the Platform, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the present Policy and all associated terms communicated by the Company from time to time.
Users are required to expressly confirm acceptance of the Refund Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy before completing any purchase on the Platform.
